Gardner Village

We headed to Gardner Village with the Smarts tonight to search for elves!  We wandered around checking off the list.

Definitely got into the spirit of things!

Then we decided to go into an event Gardner Village opened up this year.  It was really only so-so.  It wasn't crazy expensive, but it was really low budget.  There was a big event tent, and it was sectioned off.  First a little walkway with scenes in the walls, then this little toy.

A little backdrop for pictures, but it was SO dark they don't work.  Plus the worker was something like 14?

Then they got cute little presents to take out to the 'sleigh' on their way to Santa.

Somehow I managed to get this picture of most of the kids, and with really good natural smiles!  They all got on a golf cart and we drove around this tiny little parking lot 'on our way to Santa'.  It was pretty ridiculous.

Before we went into Santa, there was this little 'ride' with the big screen with video of the flight of the sleigh.  Again, meh.  But Santa was a good looking one!  And I got cute pictures of each of the girls!

Meghan and I sat on his lap, too!

All in all, I wouldn't do it again.  It was amateur, and poorly planned, and hokey!  But the kids had fun for the most part, and I guess that's all that matters.
