This morning we took the girls on a hike up to the living room. The trail starts at Jon's work parking lot, and goes up the mountain to a spot where the rocks have been arranged to look like couches and chairs and little tables. Hence the 'living room'. The girls weren't too excited about hiking, but we kept good attitudes, and for the most part, they did really well.
Here we all are in the living room, sitting on a couch together.
Each of the girls took a turn on a little throne.
Jon and I took a turn on the throne...with kissing!
And then regular, of course.
We actually had really good time with the girls, despite a couple meltdowns on the way down the mountain, and the various arguments about whose turn it was to use the hiking poles! I'd like to get them outdoors more this spring and summer, so this was a good start. And with only light jackets! This weather has been crazy!
