Whew! A New Year! I am always surprised when a new year rolls around at the sense of expectancy--of new hopes, a clean slate, and the idea that amazing things could happen this year!
We took it easy today, hanging around Grandmere's house. We did discover that the balloons from last night will hover over the heating vents when they turn on. It really is bizarre. The balloons don't get pushed away from the vent by the warm air, but they just bob about 12 inches above the vent. Mimi is actually the one who discovered the phenomenon.

Mac hurt herself today, and was pretty darn excited to open up her bandaids that she got from Grandma's Christmas party. They are Muppet bandaids, and the girls have really latched on to Muppet Christmas Carol. This was the Marley and Marley bandaid.
