Appreciating Teachers and Selling Homes

The house in Minnesota went up on the MLS this morning.  For sale by owner.  It is a very nice home, made nicer by hard work.  Hopefully it will sell quickly.

Baptism preparations are well underway--it's going to be a beautiful day and party!  I've been so caught up in those preparations, though, that I almost forgot to send something to Mac's teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week!  We're in a new school with new teachers, so we can reuse good ideas from TA Weeks past.  These went to Mac's two teachers today. 

She is so sweet, and loves her school and teachers.  She takes great delight in telling Mimi how things are going to be for her next fall.  We appreciate these teachers in their lives! 

Funny Story, if a little sad...Mac brought home this darling little basket of flowers for Mother's Day.  I oohed and aahhed, then I opened it up, and there was a picture of a little girl who was not Mac!  Oh dear.  It seems that there was a little mix-up and the wrong baskets went home with the wrong kids.  I don't know if it was a straight switch, and this little girl's mom got Mac's or if there were more mix-ups.  Mac was a little sad that it wasn't hers, but I loved it anyway, because it looked like what she did.  Definitely a case of the thought counting more than the actual gift.  I love this little girl.
