Making Lunch

This little sequence of pics is pretty funny. Leiden wanted to make lunch for herself and Mac the other day. Good thing, because she had playgroup in 30 minutes and I was feeding the baby. I still can't ever get the timing of things right. It gets better, right? Anyway, she got out the bread, peanut butter, and jam, and made sandwiches. I think they had a lot of jam on them.

and it goes to Mac. Mac is pretty funny. When I start bustling around in the kitchen, she knows it's going to be time to eat soon, so she immediately goes to her booster seat and sits there just waiting. Sometimes dinner is still 30 minutes away, and she's just sitting there.



But it's usually well worth the wait.



Then Leiden made herself a sandwich.



She was very pleased with herself, and with her sandwich. This is POTD 4/1/10:
