Christmas Lights

It's that odd time of year, when Mimi is playing with the pumpkins still on our porch, and Brad is putting up Christmas lights.  It's kind of strange that Thanksgiving and then Christmas are right around the corner.  These pumpkins have provided Mimi with quite a bit of enjoyment.

She loves to heft them around, saying, "heavy, heavy".   

It was a gorgeous day, again, so Brad was out getting the Christmas preparations underway.  It's much more pleasant to do it when it's 55 and sunny, rather than 30 and snowy!  I love having lights on the house.  White lights, that is, and Brad has obliged! 

We haven't turned them on, and won't until the day after Thanksgiving.  Then Christmastime will be here in full force.  I'll be sure to get the tripod out and take a picture of his efforts.
