Today was kind of the last Saturday to do yard work. Cold weather, and possibly SNOW are forecast for this next week. Mac got serious outside with the leaf blower.
Brad was super smart and raked the leaves onto a tarp instead of trying to stuff them in bags. Which is a battle lost before it is begun.
Today was so beautiful, with this evening around 50 degrees, we decided to invite a family over for s'mores. While warmer than normal, it was also windier than normal. When Brad went out to start the fire in the pit, he couldn't even get it to stay lit. So we tried with candles to see if it worked.
It does work, although it is very slow going.
We ended up baking them, which makes the marshmallows nice and puffy, browned on the outside and melted on the inside. I will have to remember that!
