Tonight we got going on our Thanksgiving countdown chain! I love doing chains. Mimi is very much into drawing and coloring, lately, so we gave her a link to write on while the girls each wrote out the date on all 20 links! Mac wrote NOV. on each of hers and I wrote the number, and Leiden, of course, wrote all of hers. We ended up using Mimi's scribbled one for the November 23 link.
Leiden drew a lovely turkey for the top of the chain.
Mac is doing really well with letter writing and recognition. She's even starting to put some sounds with letters. Check out those NOV's!
We're particularly excited for Thanksgiving this year, because we're going to have company! We love it when people come to see us here. My parents will be visiting for a week here over Thanksgiving. Good times!
