Appreciating Teachers

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and after thinking long and hard about what I wanted to give Leiden's teachers that wasn't too cheesy or useless, found these darling printable bookmarks.  Each color has a different animal silhouette, and did you know you can open .pdf files in an editing program like Gimp or Photoshop--and then edit them like .jpg?! Yes.  Yes, you can.  So I was able to type in the teachers' names instead of writing.  Had them printed on sticker paper at FedEx, and we're good to go.

Wrapped them up nicely. 

Sewed little packages for them (out of paper). 

And tied them to a card, which Leiden made and I added my own little note, too. 

They turned out really cute and Leiden said her teacher though they were great.  She'll give the second teacher hers on Friday.
