The Park

Brad had a work dinner tonight so he was gone.  I called a friend and we met at the park to play and eat Wendy's.  The girls, Mimi included, had a great time.

I didn't think Mimi was really old enough to play on these nets, and she did struggle at times, but she did a really good job.  Sometimes her 3 1/2 year old body and her 2 year old mind don't always mesh, but this worked out. 

Except when she got stuck here and I had to go rescue her.  As I'm snapping the picture, she's saying, "help, help, stuck".  We got her down just fine. 

 

It was a lovely evening to be outside, and then Mac got clocked by a girl on the monkey bars--it was totally Mac's fault, but she really did get kicked pretty hard in the head.  We left for home pretty soon after that.
