Snow

The girls went outside to play today.  Sweet little Mac built a tiny little snowman out in the snow, and while she came to the door to ask for something for its eyes, Mimi ran out and destroyed it.  Oh, Mimi.  I don't know what to do with her!  Mac was soon distracted building another on the porch, and all was well again.

Where do these eyes come from?

Mac learned that the snow was not sticking as well on the porch, and tried several different methods, including Tupperware, to make a new snowman.

She came in the house kind of discouraged because she couldn't get the balls to stick together, but I went out and found this about a half hour later.  It's the kind of thing that is so cute it breaks your heart.  The picture doesn't show the scope of the thing--it was about 5 inches tall.  And the stick arms just kill me.

Brad borrowed the neighbor's snow blower and did both our driveways.  We have a plow service that is supposed to come, but it's hit and miss, and very unpredictable how long after the snowstorm they will come.  He says he doesn't mind the plowing for the bit of exercise it affords, but I'm pretty sure he'd like a snow blower, too!
