Busy Days

Today we took Mac for a haircut.  She has been avoiding one for a long time because she has wanted to grow her cute little A-line bob out.  That's fine, except that she still has layers.  I finally convinced her to let someone cut it all the way across to even it out and get rid of the ends.  I spaced and didn't get an after pic, but she was happy enough!

I went running this afternoon and found these absolutely beautiful leaves.  They are in the process of turning, and it's incredible!  I love seeing the wonder of God's creation while I'm out exercising.

We have started drinking raw milk, which I didn't even know was a thing until recently.  It's SO good for the the growing bodies of the girls, and while RIDICULOUSLY expensive, it's worth it because it's so much more healthy than regular milk.  Raw milk is not pasteurized and it's not homogenized.  Pasteurization kills off all the good stuff in normal cow milk.  It ruins the growth factors, the probiotics, and just renders it white water.  The non-homogenized part is fun, because you get to peer at all the milk on the shelf and find the one that has the thickest skim of cream on top!  When you want to drink some, you just shake it up before you pour!  This means it's even more full fat than Vitamin D milk, and the fat is super good for all our brains, but particularly for the girls, whose brains are still growing and developing.
