State Fair 2010

We went to the State Fair tonight, kind of spur of the moment and last minute. The girls were excited--at first--to see animals, but then they just wanted to go on rides. We did not get anything fried on a stick, although we did get an order of fried pickles to share, and some french fries. Leiden actually got in the stall with this horse, which made me nervous, but the pictures were super blurry.

Here I am with our JUG of chocolate chip cookies. They were super good, but we got way too many.

Miriam 9/3/10: Mimi loved being outside, even though the temps were around 60. She loves the breeze. She's just started the chewing motion, so she worked her way through three (3!) french fries!

The big slide. The last time we went to the fair, I was pregnant with Mac, and Brad took Leiden on this ride. I was a little jealous, as I couldn't go while pregnant, but I got to go tonight on the second run down. Leiden's on her own sack, in the light lavender colored jacket with Brad and Mac a bit behind her.

POTD 9/3/10: Here we are, in front of one of the silly mirrors that makes you look like you're 2 feet tall. Look at Mac. She thought these were great.

Mac also enjoyed the french fries. She ate most of the little bucket we got, and then kept asking for more cookies. We finally told her they were all gone. (Not true--we still have like 50.)

Fun evening out with the family.
