These are my favorite flowers, I think. These and tulips. Peonies are just simply gorgeous. Leiden's violin teacher has peony bushes outside her house, so we got to see them progress this spring and then this loveliness! We had a peony bush in Minnesota, and I am seriously considering asking the landlord if we can plant one here!
