Happy Birthday, Mac!

Happy Birthday, Miss Mac!  It's the big 8!  She woke up to lots of presents, which she was very excited about.

Mimi was thrilled with the present she picked out at the dollar store.  It was entirely her idea, and she asked me if we could go there and pick up what she wanted to give to Mac.  She even used her own money.  Gah!  These girls! 

Mac got her very own set of scriptures, that have her name embossed on the cover.  I gave her a cute little scripture case to go with them, but somehow didn't get a picture of it.

Some beados, which she has been asking for. 

A new swim suit. 

And of course special breakfast!  She decided to change things up and asked for special muffins!  She ate them, but said she'll go back to the regular special breakfast next year.  Funny girl.

We had quite the mess.  Leiden looks a little sour in this pic, but she's actually been okay with the birthdays this year.  She knows hers is coming, and has been very even keeled.

Mac chose for another gift to go get her ears pierced.  We got there and predictably she got a bit nervous.  She picked pretty clear stone studs. 

They are good at what they do, and within just a couple seconds she had real earrings in her ears! 

She was brave and super excited. 

We completed our celebration with dinner at Mimi's, where we both had the waitress take our picture, 

as well as a selfie in front of the sign outside! 

Happy Birthday, Mac!  I love you!  This one's a big one, and I'm so excited for you!
