I didn't get to the polls very early. In fact it was evening when I took off to deliver my poll in the mail. I stopped by a voting center earlier in the day, but the line was literally hours long. I love getting the voting sticker, but it wasn't even a cool one, or one that applied! It was nighttime, not early!
As the evening wore on, I was astounded at the results on the computer. I didn't in a million years think Trump would win, and yet here we are!
We might actually pull this off. While he is definitely not my first choice overall, between him and Hillary Clinton, this was a no brainer choice for me. And it would appear that much of America thought similarly.
We have a new president!
