I saw artichokes at the store, and was struck with the insatiable desire to eat some! I brought it home, and cut it up, and then it took FOREVER to steam! I was spoiled the last time when Jonathan used his pressure cooker. Even then it took 25 minutes to cook them. I should have known it would be ridiculous in just a regular pan.
BUT...they are beautiful vegetables when raw, and delicious in their lemon butter dipping sauce when cooked!
