This is always a fun night--going to meet the new teachers, seeing what her classroom looks like, etc. This was Leiden upon her spotting some books she wants to read in the classroom!
Leiden gave her two new teachers their little gifts (they were very impressed, I must say), and they posed with her for a picture. Introducing Mrs. Benson and Mrs. Jacobsen! I liked them right off the bat, so we're good there. They were very impressed, also, to hear that Leiden has been reading the Ramona books all on her own this summer, as well as the Ivy and Bean books. It's going to be a great year.
