THIS is happening!!!!! He got on a plane...finally...and flew most of the day, ending up on the east coast for the night. He was thrilled to be upgraded to business class, and flew in relative comfort. He's on his way!
Of course, I'm here all day, just puttering around, willing the clock to move faster. We had chinese for dinner at Pete and Susan's house. Susan actually got this fortune, but it was too great to not give to me! (It reads 'A distant romance could begin to look more promising'...um, YES!

He will arrive in Vegas tomorrow morning, so I purchased my plane ticket tonight, and after running the girls up to Brad and Annie's place, bunked down at my mom's house. I bet I don't sleep a wink!
