Thomas and I met Jon for lunch today, as we do often. One of the things I love most about him is his refreshing, almost child-like curiosity combined with his incredible attention to detail. He was struck by something in the tree that I would never have noticed, and I thought to get out my phone and snap a picture while he was looking.
Tonight for FHE we made baggie ice cream.
It worked pretty well for the most part, although it didn't set up very well. I'm not sure if the liquid measurements were off, or if the ice/salt mixture wasn't quite up to par. So we got out straws, which eliminated the pesky salt issue, too!
The girls were pretty excited to slurp out their 'milkshakes' from the bags.
