The girls have been asking about going figure skating lately, and today we headed to the rink. It was a fun family activity.
Mimi had a hard time, and took a dive or two. But we managed to smile!
Seriously, though, those skates HURT ankles! Really bad. They just mash up against my ankle bones with every stride. I know they're cheap rentals, but man. I even tried hockey skates for a little extra padding, and it was still pretty bad. I would want to do it a lot more if it didn't hurt. Thankfully, the girls seem far less affected and loved our outing! The Gravenstreter-Macdonald's hit the ice!!
