New Years!

The girls finally came back for good today, and just in time for the New Year!  Mimi immediately got out her moisturizing face mask she got in her stocking.  They are really funny little things, but I think she felt very grown up using it!

Most exciting today, besides it being 2018, was our family celebration of Jon's birthday!  He had said he wanted a piñata a long time ago, and I obliged!  I knew the girls would love it, and it was a hit all around!

Jon helped me hang it, then took the first swings!

He was kind to give all of us a turn.

Eventually, it was mangled enough to fall to the ground, and he was triumphant!  Inside were tickets to three Utah Symphony and Utah Opera performances.  Getting some culture in our lives!

We put 3 and 5 candles on cupcakes and sang Happy Birthday to Jon!

It's a new year, with all the attendant possibilities before us.  May it be a wonderful year together!
