Sealing

Today was sealing day!  Jon's parents got here last night and the girls spent the night at their Grandma's house because we had to leave VERY early to be there.  Madison and Joni went and picked them up to get them there closer to the time the sealing started.  We felt it very important that although they couldn't be in the temple with us, that they be there waiting as our family took this essential step, and then be with us afterwards for pictures.

Jon and I had such a wonderful experience being sealed for eternity in the lovely Provo City Center temple.  We determined long ago that was the temple we wanted to be sealed at, and we were so pleased we could make it work last minute.  It was a very small group there with us, but our parents, Tara and Dustin, Madison and Joni, and Mike and Joan were there to share the experience with us.  I believe our parents have looked forward to this day for us both individually and together for a long time.

After the ceremony we went outside and met with the girls to take some pictures to remember the day.

Us and our sweet parents on the temple steps.

My uncle Mark took our pictures for us, and we love these two.

Afterwards it was a crazy day.  Jon went with the girls and his parents to get something to eat, but I had to hurry over to Sister Young's house for the ward baby shower!  The ward members were very kind and generous, and particularly Paulanne for hosting and being such a wonderful help.

We are so grateful this day has come to pass, and even more grateful for the timing.  Little Zada I'm sure was there jumping for joy at her parents making covenants that will cement her family and create the best possible environment for her to grow up in.  We are so blessed!!
