Madison's Birthday

While we were in Utah, Madison turned the big 2-5, and we had a birthday dinner the Sunday before his birthday. He loves my mom's cheesecake pies, so that's what we had for dessert. Leiden was keen on helping, and was very concerned that there were not 25 candles to put in the pie. She helped, nonetheless, and then proceeded to lick them all off after they came out.



Mac, as is in character for her newly-even-more-mischievous-than-it-was-before-nature, pretty much just ran around all night. After eating some pie, of course.


I didn't get any really good pictures, but Madison celebrated his real birthday by giving his girlfriend, Joni, a diamond ring! They will be married on June 5 in the Salt Lake Temple, so we'll be back to SLC then to celebrate with them--and we'll be bringing the newest member of our family by then! (Less than 7 weeks to go till baby!)
