Lots of Lazy Days

After most of our days with the NC cousins were past, we just unwound with lots of lazy days, not doing much. The kids were a little overstimulated, anyway, so it was much needed.

Miriam 6/11/10: She enjoys the different view the high chair affords. Then she can see what's going on!

POTD 6/11/10: Mac was in a super bad mood this day, and I finally sent her to her room, where I had her lie down on Leiden's bed and watch little fishies on her projector. This is how I found her about 5 minutes later. It wasn't yet 11:00 AM!

POTD 6/12/10: This was Mac's getup for bed. She has crazy cool style!

Miriam 6/12/10: Uncle Mad stopped by for a few minutes before we went to a wedding reception. First item of business? Hold the Meems.

Scrunchie girl!

Pretty girl

Teething girl! I hate that my kids do it so early! Miriam 6/13/10:

Mac gets a little exuberant in her attempts to smile. Sometimes it's more of a grimace.

POTD 6/13/10: Leiden is sweet. She's coming out of her timid shell a little more, and enjoys entertaining others--on her terms.

Miriam 6/14/10: We're just this side of her being old enough and strong enough (because she's certainly big enough!) to use the entertainer. We weighed her yesterday, and she's a whopping 16.5 lbs naked!

POTD 6/14/10: Sidewalk chalk again! This time Leiden wrote out the alphabet and only 'stumbled' on one letter!

Miriam 6/15/10: First attempt with baby cereal! She appears to like it, and most of it actually went in her mouth. --Despite what the picture would tell you. I know the baby food stage is messy, but I love it. Perhaps because it usually coincides with things getting easier with baby all around.

POTD 6/15/10: Pretty girls. These two look the most alike. We're not sure where Mac came from, although there are definitely hints at the Wilding side, where these two are their own breed.

This is a great one of Leiden. We had gone over to Aunt Emily's house for a quiet afternoon and we spent some time outside with, what else? Sidewalk chalk! Of course she's got the 3-D kind that's much more fun.

Mimi has been sad lately, working on two teeth, so it's rare that I catch a smile on camera. Not to mention that as soon as I get the camera out she stares at it and completely forgets the entertaining adult that's trying to get her to smile.

But occasionally we get one--even if it's a little blurry. Miriam 6/16/10:

Funny little picture of Leiden--if you can spot her. I was not close enough.

POTD 6/16/10: Playing in the dirt is a staple of childhood.

Miriam 6/17/10: Somehow all my girls ended up with beautiful eyes.

POTD 6/18/10: Cousins Gavin, Max, and Justice came to play at Grandma's house. Babies Christian and Miriam were also there, just not present for the picture.

They were playing inside in the baby gym. Baby Christian is, by far, the wiggliest baby I've ever seen, and he talks like crazy! Babble, babble, babble!

Don't know how this one got twisted, but it's Miriam 6/18/10: Another little half smile.
