Winding Down the Utah Trip

Miriam 6/20/10: Mimi took a bit of time warming up to my dad, but he finally got laughs out of her by saying, "Wow!".

POTD 6/21/10: Our anniversary is today--10 years we've been married, and we aren't even in the same state! So, the POTD is of the kids playing in the kiddie pool.

We simply do not know where this hair came from.

Another great real smile from Leiden.

The water was cold--straight from the hose--so the girls didn't like sitting in the pool. There was a lot of jumping and splashing.

I didn't even attempt to put Mimi in the water. She doesn't need pools to entertain her. All she needs is a well placed finger. Miriam 6/21/10:

Miriam 6/22/10: Mimi and Mommy

POTD 6/22/10: Brad sent flowers yesterday for our anniversary, but I didn't answer the door when the delivery person came. The kids were crying, I wasn't dressed, and somehow I had the idea that it was the kid who cuts my parents' lawn. So, I didn't get these beauties until today.

Miriam 6/23/10: We are so close with this tooth! She looks a little worn out by the whole affair.

POTD 6/23/10: Cafe Rio for lunch today--as much as everyone loves the pork there, and it's award winning and all that, I don't like it. I much prefer the steak.

Our last visit with cousins for who knows how long. We had lunch and played for a little while.

POTD 6/24/10: The boys have all these great riding toys that the kids all play with when we're there.

Miriam 6/24/10: Mimi was also there, just not riding on fire engines.

We turned on the jets for the girls' bath tonight. They thought it was super cool. Particularly with the addition of bubbles!

Which predictably ended up on their heads.

Miriam 6/25/10: Brad-dad came into town this evening. We were originally going to leave tonight, but decided we'd stay the night and head out in the morning.

POTD 6/25/10: Brad wrote this on the sidewalk.

We had such a great time in Utah. We love seeing our families, and are so glad we had the chance to be seen! We will miss them when we're home, but we have a lot to go home to!
