DST and FHE

November 7 marked the end of Daylight Savings Time, which I have mixed feelings about. It's been super hard to wake up in the mornings...for me...because it's been dark so late, but I'm not looking forward to the early nightfalls. Mimi is also ambivalent.

But not about playing with pots and pans on the (dirty) kitchen floor. Those, my friends, are good times. Miriam 11/7/10:
POTD 11/7/10: About those early evenings? This was snapped out our front window at 5:05 PM. The sun went below the horizon at 4:53 PM today. (On the shortest day, December 21 this year, the sun will not rise until 7:48 AM and will set at 4:34 PM.)
Mimi's hair is getting a bit...scraggly.
So I tried to put it up. These pictures are also notable in that they show her standing up with something other than a person without other support. Miriam 11/8/10:

Being Monday night, we decided to begin some preliminary lighting of the house for Family Home Evening. The girls were more than thrilled.

Even Mimi tried to get in on the action.
