Here's the Snow!

The snow finally hit! November 13! And boy, did it hit. I believe the totals in our driveway were upwards of 9 inches of wet, heavy snow.




This means a Saturday snow day! I am so glad the girls like playing in the snow. Both of them went through periods where they didn't like the snow at all and cried and whined about it the whole time they were out there. Luckily, those days are past!

On a far more disgusting note, we appear to have a few more mice than the one we caught a while back. We should not have been so naive. We were watching a movie the other night, and we heard little scrabbling feet above the ceiling tiles. So gross. So we did a check of the basement--particularly in the utility room where the food storage is. Guaranteed, there is a hole chewed in the side of one of my giant rice bags and little mouse droppings right by it. Disgusting. So we placed traps. As of this picture, Us: 2 Mice: 0 Except we are fairly certain there are more.
