St Patrick's Day

This week at school, Leiden's class has been experiencing first hand the mischief a leprechaun can get up to.  She has come home each day and talked about what the leprechaun did that day while no one was there.  She then told me she remembered the scavenger hunt the leprechaun brought to them last year, and hoped he did something for them again.

He brought the makings for a St. Patrick's Breakfast!  There were green pancakes, green milk, golden eggs, syrup, rainbow on a stick, and fluffy clouds in a bowl.  Not to mention the magic clover dust.  The girls thought it was great.

My favorite was the rainbow on a stick!

The yard is starting to green up, which is amazing.  The bushes and trees are budding, and you can see bits of green grass growing.

Of course we spent a lot of time outside.

We had friends over tonight for Brad's second smoking adventure--pulled pork.  It was AWESOME.

All three of my girls were sitting in a line, munching on melon.

I made a green velvet cake for the occasion.
