We have been very excited about putting lights up for Christmas. We saw the incredible convex LED lights that Modern Display is selling this year, and went in to buy some, but they were out, without another shipment expected this year. We were pretty bummed, and went through a few different solutions, and then found some at Target of all places! We bought what we thought were a ton, and came home to string them all up! Jon took the roof, for which I am grateful.
I, however, had the tricky job of unstringing all the lights off my porch trees so we could string them with the new LEDs. This was ridiculous and took forever.
We had thought we had lots of lights to go around, and had great plans for the yard, but we ended up just basically doing the gingerbread outlines. It looks SO good, and I'm was excited to have help this year.
We continued our reading advent, which was nice.
And then basked in our job done well when night fell!
