We headed back to Dublin last night and turned in our rental car, where I believe the grand total of mini milk jugs was at somewhere around 16! Exhausted, we stopped in at a little fish and chips shop near the hotel, ate dinner and crashed! Today it's travel home day! We have had such a glorious time here. Definitely a trip for the ages, and with baby coming, likely the last big one for some years to come.
This morning we caught a taxi to the airport and with mixed feelings for us both, said our goodbyes to Ireland.
We got to sit by each other, and we tried to enjoy our (lengthy!) time traveling.
Ireland, we will miss you!! You were incredible.
