4/21/18: Our last full day in DC! We went to the Natural History Museum, which is enormous, and spent some time there. We thought this animal was crazy funny with it's cat like body and head and HUGE ears.
We got to see what we would have looked like as Neanderthals...this was very amusing.
They have a huge whale hanging from the ceiling, which we were trying to take our selfie with.
After the Natural History museum we did all the other tourist things...the Lincoln Memorial, the Mall, the Jefferson Memorial, and just generally enjoyed each other’s company.
We walked all along the river to the Jefferson Memorial, through all the other memorials. Still just a few trees in bloom.
We head home tomorrow, and I'll be glad to be home for the duration after all this travel!
