Before Grandmere Came

Miriam 9/17/10: She has gotten so much more smiley lately. She has this giant open mouth grin that is seriously contagious! (She does have a diaper on, you just can't see it. Not that anything she could do out of a diaper could further ruin the carpet she spits up on all day.)

POTD 9/18/10: The pool is officially gone. Brad tore out the vinyl sides today, and the dumpster is full! Now the girls have a makeshift sand box to play in.

POTD 9/19/10: Brad got up with the girls this morning and whipped out some banana muffins with them. They love to help cook.

Miriam 9/19/10: She ventures out on the floor of the kitchen quite a bit, now.

Brad and Leiden got out the paints later in the afternoon and went to town.

This was Leiden's creation: I have a ton of examples of Leiden's art that I'll post separately one of these days.

So, this is a storm, complete with clouds, rain, lightning, wind, flowers, and a girl running away from the storm. We didn't coach any of it.

I think my favorite part is the girl.
