The Rest of September

Mimi and her thumb. She has taken a liking to holding something soft to her face and sucking at the same time. I've seen her use a burp cloth, my shirt, her shirt, her blankie, whatever.



One of her favorite ways to play with her toys...dump them all out! Although this was the first time I'd seen her play in the bin itself.

POTD 9/27/10: Here's a Miss Mac with a clean face.

Here's a clean face, but still a little scary.

Mimi is so hard to dress--she's really big, and she'll fight you. If you want her arms up, they go down, and vice versa.

So this is often a process that is a bit more lengthy than I'd like it to be.

No way is this shirt coming off.

POTD 9/29/10: Mac the helper.

Leiden was experimenting with making numbers with her body. She got '4' right!

Alternate POTD 9/29/10: Tonight while we were unwinding with some tv, I saw some crazy movement out of the corner of my eye. When I turned my head I saw this little devil running along the baseboards and behind the entertainment center. Ugh. We fashioned this little trap and Brad forced him into it. He was released in the far back yard. We are sincerely hoping that he was the only one, in the house on a fluke. We didn't find any droppings anywhere, so hopefully he scurried in an open door at some point and there aren't more!!

Miriam 9/30/10 and POTD 9/30/10: We started putting Mimi in the big tub. It's still tricky, as every time she lays on her back, she tries to roll to her tummy. That equals a face full of water.
