The Mall

Literally every time we go to the mall, the girls (Leiden) beg to get their faces painted. And then they beg to get cotton candy. Every time. And every time we say no. No. No. And they keep asking. So, we told them that while Grandmere was here, we'd go to the mall and we could get their faces painted, and we could get them cotton candy. They were so excited. Brad was gone all day at a Young Men's outing, so we girls took off without him. I didn't know enough about the face painting to think of putting restrictions on the size of the painting, so of course the girls saw the pictures of full face butterflies, and wanted those. They were way more than I had thought to spend, but there I was. And they loved them! Leiden was a Monarch butterfly: Mac was a different kind of butterfly:

We contemplated getting Mimi a tiny little butterfly on her cheek, but we were fairly certain she couldn't hold still even if we held her still long enough to get it done. She didn't mind.
