And she's still sick. The vomiting stopped about 16 hours after it started, but the problems on the other end are still very present--and she has NO energy, and no desire to eat, and she'll drink only if told she must. So, we took her to the doctor. I really only worried because the last time she was this lethargic, she had a double ear infection, so I hoped it was something 'fixable' like that. Nope. The doctor said they're seeing a lot of this 5 DAY bug. Oh, goodness. She said that everything should end by Friday night. And to keep washing hands. So we still have two and a half more days of this. On the upside, she did prescribe some Zofran, which she hoped would increase Leiden's appetite. The girl is so skinny already, and she hasn't eaten since Sunday night.
This little bottle has become my new constant companion, and my hands are SO dry from washing. Luckily, no one else has come down with anything, and Leiden, because she's so tired, is sticking like glue to her room.
