Mercedes and the Girls

This picture was taken to sort of fib and backtrack for a Hello May picture for Derek...it will go in the book I'm making.  He also got some leis in the care package I sent off a short while ago.

Yeah, about that power outage...the girls are very used to coming home and eating snacks, as I said yesterday...what I failed to remember, however, was that the power was not on.  So the fridge was opened a bunch of times, and then the power was off for about 6 hours.  I was not trusting any of the food in there that could have spoiled.  So I had to go to the store today and restock all the stuff I had to throw out.  VERY frustrating, but it is my own fault, and next time I will remember that if the power is out, the fridge stays shut!
