The steaks last night were incredible. Today for lunch was leftovers! Jon's off work now for the rest of the year, so we're getting excited for Christmas! He slightly warmed his steak, then wanted to use his new blowtorch to crisp them up a bit! He got it so we can make crème brulee on Christmas Eve, and couldn't wait to get it out and test it!
Tonight was the December birthday dinner at my mom's house. You can't really see them, but amidst her beautiful table there are the pretty place cards!
There were presents, and we spent some time relaxing on the couches talking.
Jon got another set of his favorite silverwares, Knorks!
I had gotten dessert requests from the three birthday boys, and Jon requested flan. It's always a trick to get it out of the pan onto the serving plate without mishap!
There was lemon cheesecake pie, bug cake, and flan, all of which were delicious!
