Jon's work is having an ugly Christmas sweater contest tomorrow, and he decided he wanted to participate.  We went and got him a black turtleneck sweater from DI, and used a garland of fake pine boughs.  He snipped each individual bit off the garland, then wired them into the sweater to make a tree shape!  We got him some battery operated light strands of candy canes, and wrapped tiny presents to attach to the bottom.  He will complete the ensemble with little ornaments hung on the tree.

Miss Meemer lost a tooth today!  They are dropping like flies, and luckily, the more they lose, the easier it gets.  They rarely whine or complain about their loose teeth anymore, and more often than not, they get them out on their own!

Leiden's choir at school had the winter concert tonight, so we were able to go and enjoy some Christmas music.  It has long been my complaint with many choirs, however, that they pick obscure or sometimes downright weird songs to sing.  I know different kinds of music expand their vocal abilities, but I am kind of a stick in the mud, and really just generally prefer standard Christmas songs.  They sang a gospel song, which I just don't like the style of, and many of the other choirs' songs weren't even recognizable Christmas songs.

However, it was fun to see Leiden perform and get a bit of Christmas spirit!
