Baptism Day!

This morning the girls all left with their dad to celebrate Mimi's baptism with his family, and Jon and I tended to his sprouts!  They are looking SO good, and we are excited for their growth.

Check out those beet sprouts!  Bright pink!

Soon it was time to head to the stake center for Mimi's special event.  She is excited and ready for this!

It was lovely, and then we headed up to Grandmere's house, which had been decorated for the occasion, and there was much celebration and frivolity!

We are all so proud of Meemers and the choice she made today to make her first set of covenants with our Heavenly Father.

As usual, the decorations and food were wonderful.  My little chocolate cakes were tasty, even if my vision for them had to be changed.

Our family on this beautiful day!  As tradition dictates, Grandmere got the other two girls a Sunday outfit for the occasion, and we were all dressed up and looking super sharp.

That doesn't mean silly faces weren't in order!

We love her so much.

And so do her sisters!

Eight is ABSOLUTELY great!

Many of our guests were very generous and brought little surprises and gifts for the baptism girl.

One of the most special was a book that Grandma and Grandpa G sent all the way from Michigan!  We missed them today and can't wait until they can be closer to us!

We love you, Mimi!  Way to go!
