Before I get to today, the Sunday dinner announcement went so well! We came in and placed the cards and pots of candy at each place setting, and waited to see if anyone would figure it out. Really only Pete, Susan, Mike, and Joan were left to tell. It took them a long time! My mom finally had to tell Joan to move the pot of gold. She got super excited, then called Uncle Mike over to see it. He read it and literally YELLED, "HOLY CRAP!!" It was most gratifying! They are all very happy with our news and it's really fun to share it with others who rejoice with us.
Today Mac's hair was three braids braided into one braid, then wound in a bun. It looked really great, and she wanted pictures taken of it.
Then much to Jon's chagrin, Mac wanted to do HIS hair. Although you can see from his face it wasn't TOO sore a trial!
He is such a great father figure to these girls. I am grateful for him every day.
