Somehow they are even more dear when you watch them sleep.
Mac's second competition was today! She had a little better idea what to expect so the nerves were somewhat abated.
They are not supposed to wave or really respond to the audience at all.
First up was her floor routine and the resulting score.

Mac did great! You can see her scores as she goes, but you certainly aren't keeping track of the other girls scores, so you really don't have a good idea of where she's falling until the awards. She placed first place in vault, second place in beam, fourth place on bars, and fifth place on floor. She made second place overall. She's very pleased with her success!
