Wedding day for my mom's friend, Gail! She didn't think she'd ever get remarried, so this day was especially meaningful to her. The wedding was at my parents house, and we came up yesterday to assemble the cake and do the outside frosting. It turned out well, but I think if I were to do it again I would have made more gradual transitions between the colors.
Most importantly, Gail loved it, and said the red velvet was wonderful!! I was also in charge of cutting and serving the cake, and there were many compliments on how delicious it was. Wedding cake success!
Little Miss did great during the event, and everyone oohed and ahhhed over her. It was a good day.
