Hello December!!  Snowbell is back, and we are officially on Christmas watch!

We hosted Jon's family for a Thanksgiving feast at our house today, and we managed to work in our preparations around church attendance.

Turning the turkey went well, and it's always the most stressful bit.

The girls were excited for another feast.

Dinner was so amazing.  I love Thanksgiving and I love having everyone gather.

Zada was a little less than impressed about the dinner, but she'll come around!

It was a nice afternoon with family, celebrating all the things we have been blessed with.

I completely forgot to take pictures of the table before we sat down.

I arranged several little copper pots with flowers and some spray painted pumpkins for a simple mixed metallic look.  The place cards were gold painted pears with copper calligraphy names.

After dinner it was gather and relax time to clear room for apple, pumpkin, sweet potato, and lemon pie!  As Zada gets older she is warming up to others, which is good to see.

Jon's family is really cute with her, and frankly they are really great with all the girls.  I appreciate them so much.

After the festivities were over, it was time to start Jon's funny BioFire advent calendar.

The piece of chocolate for December 1 was a pair of lungs, which was hilarious and surprisingly detailed!

Welcome to December!
