If you look really closely, you can see the shrimp has a ton of eggs she's carrying around.  This would be more exciting, but apparently these shrimp require different waters to actually bear young.  The eggs hatch and the tiny ones that come out need brackish water, then later they need fresh.  So it's a complicated proposition to actually breed them, and so it looks like this mama will just carry the eggs around indefinitely, which seems kind of sad!


Zada joined us for the first part of the Christmas devotional tonight.  We enjoy watching this each year, and mentally resetting our thoughts and focus for the season.
