Stillwater

Uncle Colin and Aunt Joy left us this evening, so we decided to drive to Stillwater today as a last hurrah. The girls loved seeing the bridge raise for the boats, and loved the crazily flooding river. It's up over the sidewalk that runs by the river.



So of course they wanted to wade around in it. We came here a few years back, when I had just discovered I was expecting Mac, and the water was much lower.




Mimi, of course, kept beelining it to the river, so we spent our time by the river chasing after her and trying to distract her. Exhausting.


When we got home from Stillwater and the airport, the girls were antsy, so we went to Target and bought a sprinkler for recreational purposes. This is a look of sheer joy on Mimi!

We were so glad that Colin and Joy could come see us. It is so fun to have visitors, and we wish we could have more!
