We're Back!

Lovely little salad greens from the garden for dinner last night. They are a spring crop, but since it is still spring weather here in the frozen north, they are still thriving. These are stronger in flavor than lettuce you get at the store.

Mac and Mimi have developed a cough and stuffy/runny nose. I believe in addition to the bug they had in North Carolina. Gotta love flying. Mac has been a handful, as usual with a cold.

Mimi is also teething, but she's remarkably cheery. Waving at your adoring fans--er, Mommy, puts anyone in a good mood!

So does pulling funny faces while eating.

This picture is so classic Mimi. Eyes closed, happy as can be, yelling at anyone who will listen.

Eyes open version.

We finally got back from North Carolina last Tuesday afternoon. I ended up having to fly for 3 hours with all three girls by myself, while Brad found his own roundabout way home. Then, as he could only fly in to Rochester, I had to make the two hour trip down in the car to get him. We were very happy to get home. Phew. And I'm darn glad we bought tickets to SLC in a couple weeks!
