Christmas Cookies

Today after church we set about making sugar cookies!  It's one of the girls' favorite activities because of the cookie cutters, but it's not my favorite thing.  Mainly because I can't stop eating them when they are in my house!  The girls took turns rolling out the dough

And then we cut them out!

Mimi was napping--or not napping, really, while we were doing the first part, so when she came down she got some turns cookie cutting.

Daddy supervised the frosting, from making it to coloring it to making sure Mimi didn't eat off the knife and then put it back into the bowl.  Sprinkles, too.

We took off to deliver some plates of treats to our friends...the roads and driveway were pure ice and it was COLD outside.  I didn't realize this until we were out and the girls were all freezing.  We didn't bring hats or gloves, but we made it with only two girls falling.  Those would be the two oldest who did not listen when mommy told them not to run on the ice.  Natural consequences are a bear.
