Gingerbread Houses

Tonight we decorated gingerbread houses with some friends.  Mimi had a difficult time understanding that the candy was for her house, and not for her mouth.  But she was so happy!

We made the mistake of trying to decorate the houses right after we had glued them together.  Not a good idea.  They evidently needed at least 30 minutes to set before they were handled. 

After the third or so house fell apart, Brad decided to make one and use superglue.  This was a great idea, 

until it stuck to his skin!  I got out the glue gun--that's where it's at!   

Mac worked very hard on her little house. 

And so did Leiden.  See her cute little walkway and the little decorated wreath?  It was SO cute.
