Today we all headed to Sleeping Bear Dunes! They are an enormous hill of sand heading straight into Lake Michigan. They are apparently super fun to run/trip/roll/slide down, but then you have to climb back up, and that takes WAY longer!
There was a bit more sun today, and the lake was absolutely beautiful.
Jon and I perched just a tiny ways down, and chose not to go to the bottom, because of the climb back up. We watched Jon's dad, Faith, and Clayton zoom down, then take a dip in the water.
It was relaxing to sit there on the warm sand together in front of the lake. And we saved ourselves the climb back up!
